Community and Creativity that Sticks
What we do
With the economy as it is, we want to offer an inexpensive way for artists and fans to share art. Stickers are generally inexpensive, about $5 each. An artist can have a wide variety of designs on a small table space with few other supplies needed.
Stickers can be placed anywhere a person might want to place them. They are easy to share and gift. People of all ages and demographics can enjoy stickers.
The Idea: Past to Future
Back in 2023 our founders found out about a Sticker Fest event hosted by Gallery Boom in Olympia WA. They knew Tacoma would be a great city to support a similar event.
After a year of planning and working with other art event coordinators in Tacoma they were able to team up with Music and Heart in Wright Park, an event run by Stars for Peace. Combining music, art, and community building is the perfect place to have the first Tacoma Sticker Fest.
2024, the first event was a success! Tacoma was very welcoming to our little event. We also learned more about event planning and things we can do differently and better.
For 2025, we are grateful to be at Wright Park again with Music and Heart / Stars for Peace.
Eventually we plan on holding Tacoma Sticker Fest as a stand alone event. With options to have mini events to improve accessibility for different communities and artists.
